• Do I need any tools to install the skis? No, OX Polar Skis are designed for quick and easy installation without any tools.
• Do I need any tools for the initial assembly? Yes, initial assembly requires a star head screwdriver, for 4 x screws, which attach the wheel bracket to ski.
• How many skis do I need? It depends on your device. For a wheelchair you may wish to put 2 skis on the front caster wheels only. A standard walker or rollator typically needs 4 skis. A 3-wheeled stroller needs 3 skis. A 4-wheeled wheelchair, wagon, or stroller would need 4 skis. You can also purchase a single ski to mix n match with the RX skis, or as a replacement or spare.
• What surfaces do OX Polar Skis work best on? They're superb for compact snow and ice-covered pathways and trails. They're not designed for deep powder or bare pavement.
